Course Description

An integration of the material covered in previous programming and systems courses. An examination of modern management information systems in a business setting. Topics include structured decision systems, decision support systems, information systems acquisition and management, database management systems, and the role of information processing systems in business decisions.

What to cover?

This is a half lecture, half lab course. We meet once a week on Saturday. In the morning the lecture part will cover the following subjects:

The lab part will be project part. A project will be assigned in the afternoon session. We are going to use 15 minutes to talk about your project assignment first then you do the project in the lab. Your instructor will be available during the lab session for your questions.
